GSE is like the GMAT. You can sit the exam any time you are ready. Simply register to obtain a GSE ID, login with your ID and pay the exam fee using a Bank Card, schedule yourself using the available link, prepare for the Exam, then sit the Exam on the scheduled day.

The GSE is like the popular GMAT but its based on the UK FGA (First Graduate Assessment) by Previsor-ASE. Its an internationally acredited assessment which examines a graduates reasoning ability.

Standardized testing enables: • employers to objectively identify preferred talent from a pool of graduates by bringing to bear the noble ideals of meritocracy and equal opportunity • graduate job seekers to know the extent to which they have developed their aptitude and personality over the years and how they compare to others • parents and guardians to know if their children/wards are acquiring the necessary human development required to succeed in a highly competitive job market

The GSE fee is N5000. It covers 3 sections: Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.

Payment is done using a bank card once you are logged in. Follow the link for payment and it will guide you through the required steps. Make sure your card has "interswitch" written on it.

Payment by ATM cards are safe and secure. Make sure you see a sign which says "PIN Secure" on any site before you pay.

You can re-take the Exam, at 6 months intervals. Please make sure you prepare well.

Go to any UBA branch, you will be given a free UBA Exchange Card for your use. Load it at the Bank with N5000. Log onto the portal and proceed to pay following the payment link.

The GSE Exam scores are valid for 2 years.

Check your inbox for a mail containing your login details. If you do not find this in your email, try your bulk mail. If it is neither in your email nor bulk mail, you can login with the email address you used to register by changing the login option from GSE ID to Email Address and typing in your chosen GSE password.

Make sure you are typing in the correct GSE ID. Your GSE ID consists of 2 letters and 8 numbers. The first two are your initials and the rest are numbers. If you still cannot get this right, try to login with your email address and password

Every graduate can register and sit the GSE, regardless of what class of degree you have. Graduates from all tertiary institutions: Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education e.t.c

You can sit the GSE before completing your NYSC. It is however up to the companies’ discretion on if they want to hire Youth Corpers.

No you should never give out your card number and your pin (especially) to anyone. Please DO NOT email your card number and pin.

Each company registered with GSE has different selection criteria that they follow. GSE makes it possible for employers to view your profile and select people based on their own criteria, thus anyone of any age can sit the GSE.

The exam is 49 minutes long and it contains a total of 56 questions. However Schedule 2 hours for the test because you will be given time to familiarize yourself with some practice questions before each section. You do not need to bring anything to the center because everything you need for the exam will be provided for you at the center.
